VENICE, FLORENCE & ROMERESERVATION AND PAYMENT
You may register sending an e-mail (with the name, the number of participants, the date of departure) before July the 12th to: info.eea-esem@venicesystem.com, with the subject header as "POST CONGRESS EEA-ESEM".
Once the minimum number of persons has been reached, Oltrex will send a reconfirmation message by e-mail including the registration form, which has to be compiled completely including credit card details.
The participants are required to send back this registration form within 2 days after receiving it by fax to 0039-041-5221986 and Oltrex will proceed to debit your credit card.
Refunds are not foreseen for non presentation to the tours.
25th August 2002 - Sunday VENICE-FLORENCE
After breakfast, transfer on your own to the meeting point at Piazzale Roma in Venice.
Departure by private coach towards Florence, the city can be considering a living Gallery of Renaissance art and Italian culture, and a living boutique for modern shoppers in the same time.
Upon arrival to Florence you will be transfered to your hotel. The hotels we book are all of a traditional style and offer easy access to all sights, facilities and point of interest.
After check-in time, free time for lunch on your own.
After lunch enjoy a guided walking tour of Florence where you will be introduced to the city's major monuments.
The itinerarry includes a visit of the Cathedral complex: the Cathedral with Brunelleschi's grandiose Cupola, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistry with its bronze doors among which the most famous Gates of Paradise.
The tour ends with a visit of the famous Academy Gallery where it is possible to admire the original David by Michelangelo and other masterpieces by this great artist.
At the end of the tour return to your hotel.
Dinner in the historic center in a typical Florentine restaurant (with local menu and excellent Chianti wine).
Overnight in Florence.
26th August 2002 - Monday FLORENCE - CHIANTI AREA - ROME
After breakfast departure from the hotel for another guided tour among the finest and exclusive places in town including a visit of the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria - a splendid "open -air sculpture
museum" and "Ponte Vecchio" the "jewellers bridge" one of the symbols of Florence.
At the end of the guided tour departure by private coach towards Rome.
The journey to Rome takes you along the Chianti Countryside, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany that is known all over the world for its wine and where vineyards olive groves and woods create such a unique landscape
Stop along the way for a wine tasting and lunch in a most renowned castle farm.
Arrival to Rome and transfer to your hotel.
Balance of the day at leisure and dinner on your own .
Overnight in Rome.
27th August 2002 - Tuesday ROME
After breakfast meeting in the hotel with local guide for starting the sightseeing of one of the most popular museum in the world: Vatican Museums located in "Città del Vaticano" official residence of the Pope.
Proceed the visit with a short stop at St. Peter's Square and Basilica which is the largest and most beautiful Church in the world.
After the visit return to your hotel.
Lunch arrangements on your own.
In the afternoon an assistant will escort for a walking tour through the famous Piazze of Rome
In the evening move to a local restaurant where you will enjoy a full dinner with wine and musical entertainments.
Overnight in Rome.
28th August 2002 - Wednesday ROME - DEPARTURE
After breakfast transfer to Rome Airport for your departure flight.
