Welcome to the web site of the First World Congress of Environmental Economists. The World Congress, organised by the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and by the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists in cooperation with the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, will take place in Venice (Italy), at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini from June 25 to June 27.
The Fondazione Giorgio Cini is a magnificent monastery located on the San Giorgio Maggiore Island facing San Marco Square. Public transports and a World Congress Navette are the easiest way to reach San Giorgio. Gondolas are also available for those who loved Thomas Mann's Death in Venice.
